i dont really think your harming much really, its still filtered n all.

Like the others said, the stock stuff before the filter is just to make it quieter. Most original Civic buyers are expecting a quiet, economical car.

Thanks guys. I'm still trying do do my homework on this stuff. I have a few goals in mind, I think a swap. I'm picking up another identical car next week but its a 5sp. I wanna make the current car look nice and have a solid reliable engine thats fun to drive. The second one is gonna get the full hotrod treatment and be more of a toy. I'm gonna keep reading and trying to learn as much as I can. BTW Trustdestruction, I love what you've been doing with your car. I've gotten some great ideas from your build. Thanks.
