ok i jus bought a 1996 EX with a SOHC Vtec, 5 speed. i aint gonna lie ITS A PIECE OF ****! but i always wanted a civic ex and now i got one and dont kno where to start..... the problems...... umm... my guages work when they want to, that "beep beep, beep beep" honda sound when u open the door dont work no more, i have no muffler wut so ever, (the ******* who owned it before took the whole muffler thingie off) even cut the J hangers! wut an ***! a new paint job, new engine (sumthing alot faster) and a muffler, i need help on finding some things for my car so if there is anyone out there who knows something either here in texas, or lousiana or sumthing abot my car PLEASE let me kno.....

O.K. Not trying to be a **** or anything. But please in the future try to use proper English. It makes it easier for us to read and then answer you.
Second: For the exhaust, try your local trade school. Most of the time the welding shop at any trade school will weld you up for FREE. Just get a muffler and take it to them.
As for the engine, just call around to the junk yards near you. Also you can ask the auto shop at your local trade school. They should know where good cheap parts are.
Good luck with you ride, and post up some pics when you get a chance. Welcome to the forum and I hope you stick with us for a while.

beep beep, beep beep honda sound when u open the door dont work no more,
aahhahah sorry. But yea, that is called a head light chime. A local visit to the radio shack, and a 12v chimer will help solve the problem.
