well either way you need to fill that hole...... gas fumes is serious!!!!!!

seal it! ya dont have to screw it you could also use abunch of epoxy or something that will not be eaten away by gas..... check your autoparts store for something to patch it with...

Especially since the tank is out of the car now, it would be best to put in a good used one rather than try to repair it. Also of course make sure the screws that made the holes are gone too.

I found an used gas tank at a scrapyard for 120 so im going to get that. Im going to try to sue the guy who sold me the car because he used a bunch of smell killer stuff and had a super piney smell thing to cover up the smell of gas. He didnt mention it at all

well i highly doubt that sueing him will go anywhere......
he probably didnt even know it was like that.... he probably had some wires or something on that screw and when removing his stereo or extra lighting the hole was empty so the problem didnt leak till the screw was removed. again very common.

you wont get any money.... cause you have no proof it was like this when ya bought the car... sad but true dont waste your time and money...

i would just patch it. not worth that much to replace... but thats just my opinion...
