The wiring for a kill switch is real simple. You cut a vital wire such as the one that runs the fuel pump. Then you lead the two cut ends to your switch, splicing in new wires to extend it if necessary. So when the switch is "on" the circuit is closed and the car works like stock. When the switch is off the circuit is open and the car will not start.

Exactly how to connect depends on what kind of switch you have. Switches with 2 terminals are of course foolproof. In general if it's a switch with 3 terminals on it you'd connect to the center one and one of the outside ones. It won't hurt anything to just try it if you guess the wrong one at first.

I think the fuel pump wire is green and yellow it's in the harness that runs along the left side of the car from under the dash to the fuel pump (under the back seat). Probably the same situation both Civic and Prelude.
