hi
i have a civic hatch 1991 1500 vtec(round shape)
my engine has started to idle at around 1 and a half rpm.
sometimes it goes back to normal idle speed but keeps going back up.
im worried the choke has started to play around.
anyone got any ideas of any other reason this could be happening?
or details on the choke would be good electronic etc
i dont no alot about hondas but slowly learning

does it seem to rev up and down when you are idleing?

 

no not realy it just plays around.1 min normal then its at 1 and a half or above.

when you first start the car its ok if it does that... but after you drive around a little and it does it again... im not sure. my 88 hatch does that. but i dont pay attention to it.

 

yea it does it after ive bin driving around.
im not sure but i rekon its gota be a choke problem
