Default looking to get a 98 civic and need some advice....

i am new to the whole honda thing, so i not sure what kind of longevity to expect out of some of them. the 98 civic ex i am looking at has the 1.6 i believe, and has 240,xxx miles on it. assuming its a fairly well taken care of car is this too many miles? i mean how long do these usually last. as i said i am new to the whole honda thing, so if i spoke wrong i apologize, feel free to correct me.

Honda motors have been known to last over 300,000 miles. My 4th gen had 350k+ on it before I swapped motors. And if worse comes to worse, putting in a newer engine does not cost much. Can usually be done for less than $800.

If thats your only issue, I say get it.
