well i dont know about that much time between coats... i had mine off for about an hour. tho i did cheat... i used some halogen lights to heat up the taillights before tinting them so they would be nice and warm to quickly dry the paint. i think i waited like 5-10mins between coats just to be safe.

mine where shinny enough.... after you have them tinted for awhile just sand them with 2K grit sandpaper lightly and wax them back to a shine. the sanding and buffing will remove some of the orange peel leaving a slicker look. i never sanded mine because they looked good enough for me!

yeah man, it looks sick on your car, but all i did was put a few drops of black paint into the clear coat when i was painting the car, and it worked wicked and is the same colour black as the car, but the more drops you put into the clear coat the darker it gets, but mine looks sick and is just dark enough the leds show through .

well ya gotta be good with a spray can i think im pretty mean with a spray can myself

worst thing can happen is it doesnt turn out right so ya sand it off and retry.... try try again!
took me a few times to get it just how i wanted it!
tho when i do my custom led taillights im just going to paint the top/red of the taillights to match the car and just leave the lower clear section with my custom lighting inside that section completely clear. i know it will look good. but the custom lighting aint gonna be cheap

i've gotten better recently with a spray can. I think my problem was that i'm not patient enough with the spray can. lol

ya with spray cans it takes patience for small areas! i rattle caned my whole front end in primer and sealer. doesnt look to bad.... just looks crappy on the bumper cover where a pressure washer peeled off some of the primer sealer
o well tho. im gonna strip the whole bumper cover and paint it with better primer so the paint will stick.

when i wash my car I use the local manual car wash because of how much different stuff it has on it and i like the pressure washer and spot free rinse settings, and the dude who owns it always puts extra quarters in my machine for me... is the pressure washer going to take off my tint?

no it shouldnt.... not after its good and dry that is! wait at least a week before puting anything on them! like cleaner or pressure washing...

as long as you sanded the taillights and cleaned them before tinting it should stick great.

they theres another way we did it it the body shop. we would take clear coat and add a tinter or just a base coat clear with the clear and sand your lights with a fine grit sand paper then clean it then spray the mix on the light it as many times as you like then you wet sand and polish/ buff. looks killer... just another way of doing it.
