Just a little trick I found today, it worked on my 1993 EX, other Civics might be different but hopefully it will work on yours.

I was driving down the highway today, and I was accelerating and I noticed that the difference between going a steady 65 MPH and a steady 70 MPH was about 450 RPM. This was way higher than any other 5 MPH increment on my speedometer, so I slowed down to 65ish MPH and noticed I saved a bit more gas on the trip than I usually did. So unless you're in a hurry, keep it at 65ish for better gas mileage.

Don't let any soap or non-aluminum polish get on aluminum rims, it will scar them forever, or at least that's what I heard from my cousin who's a wheel, paint, and body guy : )

I wouldn't recommend doing that in any of California...I hate the cops here. although they dont sit at stop signs waiting for u to roll it and give u a ticket like in canada... hah XD

When waxing your car, be careful around your black trim. Otherwise they'll be somewhat stained with a horrid white mess >.>

luckily you can remove that with some degreasing wipes

Good call. To add to this, once you've degreased the area, work in some Mother's Back to Black to restore that factory smooth black finish.

use shoe polish, or armor all^ works great on getting rid of wax. just make sure to re-wax if you've gotten any degreaser on the paint

Good tip. I just use the hydrophobic technology spray wax from Meguier's... good stuff.
