Default What CAN you do to an automatic?

I have a nighthawk black pearl 07 automatic civic. I was thinking about saving for a 2000 si, but its gonna be at least 8 months before I have enough, so I decided to keep this car.

I'm new to moding cars, so I gotta admit I don't know a lot. I have friends who have B16s, some kick *** VTec, and cant help but be jealous.

So what can you do to an automatic? Right now I think I'm just gonna drop it, put on AEM intake, turbo, headers, and skunk 2 exhaust (ricish?).

Or do you have an automatic and put in some work? Contributions to the thread, all appreciated. Thanks.

Swap it to a 5 speed or buy a new car.

Pretty much all you can do with an auto is bolt ons. That's it. The auto-tragic slushbox-o-matic transmissions generally can't handle boost.

you cant afford an 00 Si but you can afford a turbo setup? Either way, if youre new to this i wouldnt start off with a 00 Si. Just do some basic bolt ons and make sure you do your research.
