I'd be satisfied with a complete D16 build+turbo

For 5K? Find a good B series engine, convert to the 99-00 style front end (looks better).

Single cams are overrated. And suck. I know, I have one.

i need a new engine, iv fried the one iv got and i have replaced the crank shaft just so i holds up for now...so i need somthing to replace it. The engine iv got now wasnt vtec so i want somthing that will kick me back in my seat wen i put my foot down.

Iv already got a K&N pod filter and a catback exhaust (which is basically just a 3 inch pipe going all the way back to the muffler) that doesnt really do much but give a nice sound.

The car looks amazing from the exterior so i dont want to touch anything there, but i wanna do some work under the hood. I was thinking of getting full b16a or a b18c swap and chucking a full exhaust and disc brakes at the rear. I want to get a b18c but i want to turbo it later on hopfully, and iv heard the b16s run better with a turbo. whats the best engine swap i can afford with the money i got?

Thanks for your posts!

I can show u a few pictures and prove to you that it doesnt need any cosmetics. And my 98 looks better than the 2000 front end...and rear end lol

^+1, i think everyone and there mother is doing the 99-00 converison way to much.

But with your 5K
Drop a NSX motor in and call it a day.

J/K
I would keep the D series and buid it up and turbo it, and what ever is left drop it in the suspension.
