ANOTHER DAY.... started my interior alittle.
redid headliner in some tweed i got from http://www.yourautotrim.com/prautw.html
i used SLATE tweed. i originaly bought it for my 99black civic BUT since im thinking of selling it ive decided to stop moding it all together!

well back to it. pulled headliner down and recovered it... and also painted afew pieces gunmetal since im thinking painting the exterior that color in the spring.
only thing i need to figure out is how to do the sunvisors.... and also im going to paint both sides of the upper side white panels to gunmetal as well.
for now i just painted the dome light, mirror cover, and O SH** handle
i also left the side hanger hook off at least for now. i may put it back in eventualy and paint it as well. but i never use it so think i might just leave it off.

ok enough chat. pics...
a tease

now i just need a nice exhaust tip like i have on my 99. and it will be good to go exhaust wise.
IMO sounds SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!! under 3K rpms and its almost silent and i hear the motor more than i do the exhaust now...
now im happy with the exhaust!!!! ive hated that 3aracing muffler since i first started that motor! and best of all now it doesnt sound like im freaken trying to race everybody.LOL

i must say tho I HATE HONDAS SPRING BOLT CLAMPS!!!!! talk about a HUGE PITA trying to get the bolts started! i got a new donute gasket for it as well and i probably screwed around with those dam spring bolts for about an hour!!! if i do anymore work on honda exhaust im gonna chop those dam nuts off and use some MUCH LONGER bolts with the springs. those stock bolts are just to dam short! 1/2inch longer and it would have been easy. but o no honda designer has to be a ***** PITA!

I agree. I have done both my 99 civic and my brothers crx exhaust and they are such a pain. The last ones I had to modify because I couldn't get the bolt to reach far enough to thread the nut. So I feel your pain.

btw what did you use for the high temp paint? I really should do that to mine, rust here is horrible.

ya i would have just bolted it solid like i did my 99s header to cat as well BUT on the axle back there is nuts welded to the mid pipe..... and of course the special thread i didntn have any longer bolts that style
if i had some bolts that where 1/4-1/2inch longer it wouldnt have been a problem at all. o rmaybe if i didnt swap out the gasket that might have made it easier.

the high temp paint you can buy at autozone. they have 2 types a 500degree and a 1500degree. last time i tried the 500degree on my stock header, after awhile it kept burning it off so from now on im using the 1500degree stuff and hopefully that stuff will last longer! I HOPE! plus the dull black kinda makes the exhaust disappear under the car.
i just need to buy a nice chrome tip for it and it will look nice enough for me.

another day more work i got my alarm/starter system yesterday and just got done installing it.

yes on a manual no worries man. no one else ever touches my keys! well besides the tire shop and alignment shop those are the only two and thats what valet mode is for
and i never leave the car in gear so its all good!
only one downfall so far..... stupid door triggers isnt protecting the passenger door so ill have to jump the passenger door trigger so they work together. very hard to find the door trigger wires in the main harness! so im gonna go directly to the pin pretty soon!

next thing to do is try to add power locks..... i just gotta find them. i got a few laying around somewhere!
