Cvcrcr's 98 Integra JDM Front - The new DD
1. Fenders are rubbing apparently and the car is "too low"
2. Headlights are too blue (8k), and high beams are too yellow
3. Steering wheel will not disengage the turn signals - Not passable
4. Windshield washer sprayers not working
5. Camber arm for RR loose, or needs replacing
6. Left rear wheel bearing bad

1. Gonna install stock EK front suspension just to get by for now.
2. Ordering new ones today/new high beams from something like Pepboys this weekend
3. Working on getting pricing
4. I plan on pulling the front bumper and fixing it this weekend.
5. I will pull the back wheels off and take a good look at everything.
6. Here is the BIG problem. No one can find replacement rear hub assemblies for the 96 spec ITR. Damn honda for only making this part for one year in Japan only, then discontinuing the production of replacement parts.
Found out that 98-02 Accord (rear drum) brakes should work if I grind off a little of the hub and use a Protege axle nut. Sounds crazy, but if the cost of an ITR hub assembly is going to cost me $300 shipped (for ONE!), I might as well try this $65 Accord hub first just in case. I can probably return it if it doesn't fit, too.
I will update again over the weekend with some progress. Hopefully, I can get the car back to my mom's house tonight so more work can be done this weekend.
Hmm hopefully the Accord hubs work, they are that odd 4x114. My friend had one of those Accords and it made finding wheels hard, ended up getting wheels from 240sx people actually, was on some 17x9 xxr's and dragging subframe lol.
That whole inspection stuff sucks for you. It's just a way for the state to provide work for auto shops really lol. I understand it is good to keep junk box cars off the road and for safety reasons, keep all the hooptys off the road, but it seems almost extreme how much they look in to all of this. It's scary sometimes seeing the cars people drive away from our dealership in because they don't want to pay to fix things. Good luck though, wouldn't fixing the turn signal problem just be a matter of replacing the whole wiper arm switch things? And if the toe arms really ARE loose, ebay camber kits are super cheap just to get by.

I have absolutely no problem fixing the hub, and anything else that is loose. But for turn signals that dont turn off, seriously? Half the ****ing old people in my area just leave there signals on because they don't realize it. Maybe NOT having everything turn on/off automatically will help people keep a heads up. Headlights which are too blue/yellow? If this stuff was illegal in PA, why don't I see old farts getting pulled over for blinkers being on?
Anyways, PA sucks. I have been told many times PA is the "California-sister" when it comes to inspections.
For the signals issue, the problem stems from the steering wheel not having the tabs to click off the signal. The NRG hub setup should fix that. Bought one last night. I have the hub ordered, and the QR in my hands. Just have to settle on a wheel and buy it.

If the rear arms are "loose", I am most worried about something being stripped, rather than the arm being bad. I will get back there tomorrow and see what I can find.
EDIT: Driving the car home from the shop, the bearing in the back is making ALOT more noise. I think I will try to replace both.

Oh, well, yea that **** is ridiculous, but I am planning on getting the NRG hub, QR, and wheel soon, so that should be fixed. I hate the blue headlights/yellow high beams, so I would have been replacing them anyways.
The too low thing is ***** too

Just for lulz, snapped it when walking out on break a few days ago. The Honda crew at work! S2k is pretty much stock and being sold, and the hatch is 100% stock. Another guy has an 09 sedan, but it is boring and stock, too.

Heading over to the rents house now to start working on the teg in the snow

1. Not worried about it right now.
2. All bulbs ordered
3. Still looking at steering wheel options. Might not get a 320mm wheel afterall.
4. Fixed, but now my windshield wipers turn on when I turn my headlights on? Weird.
5. Fixed, Loose nut on rear camber kit.
6. Still haven't taken the plunge to buy them. Planning on replacing the rear brakes while I am back there since I have to pull them off anyways.
Anybody have an opinion on a 350mm wheel as opposed to a 320mm? Some people were saying that the 320mm starts to affect the driver's ability to see the cluster due to the size.
No pics right now, got too drunk and forgot to upload to PB last night during the game.
Also,
- played with the JDM fog switch. Couldn't get it to work. I need to re-check all of my wiring.
- removed the aftermarket lug nuts, installed clean shiny OEM lug nuts.
- pulled more useless wiring out of the engine bay (day dreamed for a little while about the P/S stuff being gone)
- pulled CC cable out
- tried replacing the driver side lower torque mount. One 14mm bolt just spins. I assume the nut is broken off in the frame rail. Just a little annoyed about this one. I will fix it when the summer comes around.

Your inspection sounds fun. Pretty ridiculous small things... I remember when I tried inspecting my red hatchback, they were picky about things like having all 4 mudflaps (not just 2 on the front), front torque mount was torn, condensation in the tail lights, fender liners had holes. feelsbadman
Mind you it was an 89.
I have no idea what size my wheel is, but, I have difficulty seeing the top of my speedo in my EF. I'm going to lower my steering column with some washers too, though... so I can look over my wheel.

PM me if you just want to pass and forget
