Cvcrcr's 98 Integra JDM Front - The new DD
Front lower control arms replaced along with front sway bar endlinks and sway bar bushings (ES). Car rides much better now.
New vs. old. The bushings were shot needless to say.

Moog tie rods

Moog sway bar endlinks, Dorman control arms

Energy Suspension front sway bar bushings

The car will be aligned next weekend most likely. Might be time to start cleaning up the engine bay now since everything else is finally done.

There is a knocking/clunking noise coming from the passenger side all of sudden. Any suggestions?
Passenger side FLCA/sway link/bushing was done 7/14, no problems. Driver side was done 7/21. Noises started shortly afterwards. Did I **** something up while doing the driver side, or is there a possibility Dorman makes ****hole control arms and that they are failing already? I have not gotten under the car to check everything out yet. Hoping on doing that tonight.
No noises on the driver side at all. No clicking during turns, no feeling of this clunk in the steering wheel. All tie rods replaced 3 weeks ago, koni yellows/GC installed 1 month ago. When I slalom the car, I hear it every time I have the car turning left. There is also a plastic knocking noise and it sounds like that is coming from the inside the car. Not really worried about that though.
EDIT - yes, the suspension was preloaded before the final tightening of everything.

I would double check all those bolts. I just did a complete suspension rebuild and found I had not fully torqued the sway mount bolts causing the cover plate to loosen and clunk over sharp bumps. Luckily no damage.
If it's a sharp knocking, double check the torque on the sway bar links, they have a habit of needing a tightening after a few miles after initially installing them.
BTW, did you have any squeaking problems with your konis? I got oranges and the rears squeak like crazy until I apply silicone grease to the shock rods.

Hey boiler, I will have to get in there and double check that everything is tight again. Decided to not **** with the suspension or w/e this past weekend since I am getting tired of taking the same things apart over and over again.
Friday ordered a hasport driver side mount (to match the AT to MT trans mount), and a set of 98-01 F/R mudflaps. Those should be here on Saturday. I will have the engine mount since that should be cake to install.
Saturday was filled with wiring, and I successfully tucked the headlight harness out of the bay. I still have the main harness on the driver side to do, just the front left corner has been tucked and looks clean now. Little steps so I don't get overwhelmed.
Sunday, the car was washed, clay barred and waxed. A lot of little things I thought would never come off did. Car looks much better now. I will have to get some pictures that do justice soon.

Haynes manual being used appropriately... again

Hasport engine mount installed

Engine bay shot - In mid tuck on driver side, don't mind the exposed wires.

Mud flaps!

A part of me wants to paint the exterior white so they match the car. Thoughts?

^^Sticking with black. If they were painted, they would start to chip and look like crap quickly. The mud flaps are more flexible than I thought, so the paint would just crack and break off. They scrape the ground when pulling into my son's daycare, but no where else so far. lol
Planning on finally painting the front and rear bumper "insert piece thingys" Basically, the bumpers are painted all white, and they should have black in them. I will post pics when I am done. Hoping to finish the driver side tucking this weekend too.
Bought a set of OEM rear speaker covers (harder to find for the 94-01 sedans than you would think). No more showing off my Pioneers thankfully. They need to be re-wrapped along with the rear deck, so that will probably have to wait until some other time.
Anyone have experience with ABS systems? Mine does not have working ABS and I want to start looking into a delete. I know I cannot just pull the ABS module, but what about the wiring? Can that all be pulled and tucked without any issues? I might as well try it, but if anyone has direct experience that would be helpful.

Spent about 8 hours working on the car yesterday. Driver side tuck finished. I plan on buying some sleeving to make it look all pretty, so that should be done in the next month or so.

Front bumper inserts/grill painted

No pics of the rear, but this is how the bumper should look for the jdm front. It was all white before.
Doesn't look like much, but wiring took over 5 hours to finish. I am super paranoid I will mess something up, so go as slow a possible. car was washed yesterday, too.

Yes! Wire tuck! It's one of the most fun things to do! Not to mention that NOBODY NOTICES.
I've gotten ZERO compliments on mine. :'(
The bay is way easier to work on with all the wiring out of the way. It's definitely a mod for YOU, the owner! Yours looks to be coming along nicely!
I guess you can't really replace the knuckles with non-abs ones, since they're the JDM 114.3 hubs and whatever.
I bought an EG that has an ABS delete. It looks like they just unplugged all the ABS wiring. Brakes still work fine so... I don't know what to tell you. I figured, replace the ABS module with a prop valve, and clip the wires going to the knuckles, that should be good enough.
