Cvcrcr's 98 Integra JDM Front - The new DD
Thank you sir! I have an updated pic of the engine bay, but I will make you wait for it. lol. I didn't want to do this type of work to the teg, but the headlight wiring was trashed when I got it, so might as well make it perfect.
The knuckles have the sensors, well they did prior to this weekend. I took everything out from the front since the PO took everything out from the back when swapping trailing arms.
Looks like I need front brake lines, and a prop valve from a 92-00 Civic with rear discs, but no ABS (99-00 Civic SI), or from a 94-95 RS Integra. The big huge box with the 20 hard lines going to it should be removed after that. All wiring has been unplugged in addition to the entire ABS fuse box being removed with no problems.

Tucked the passenger side headlight/accessory harness today.

Updated engine bay pic

Ordered some OEM Acura emblems. Planning on painting them black and slapping them on this week. I want to start buying replacement hoses for everything and tucking the engine harness. Might even pick up another harness to cut/extend etc.

Yea, it will get pulled sooner or later. Once I find the correct prop valve, I am golden.
Coming up on a year of owning the teg. It flew by.
Installed kill switch, relocated main relay, and installed a turn down muffler tip recently. Thinking about making another switch for the kill switch. One for normal days that I will switch off each time I leave the car at night (accessible from the driver's seat), and the other for when I decide to go into the city, or if I am worried about the car (trunk, or back seats). Thoughts?
Planning on buying a vinyl to stick on the car :freakout: Don't worry, it would be black and go in the "INTEGRA" rear bumper lettering to make it match the Acura symbols on the back of the car.
Other than washing it a lot and trying to keep the wheels clean, life is pretty uneventful for the time being.

Man, ABS is unfortunate.
The tuck is looking good. Tap the fitting around on the back of the intake manifold (brake booster) so that it points down. Use a rubber mallet. Then route the brake booster line under your MC. It'll clean it up just a little bit hey?
Custom line for power steering + pump relocation? You could put it down low so it isn't popping out at you when you pop the hood!
I had good luck with using a spare harness and chopping it up. Remember, its a circle harness, so the driver side shock tower plugs should be relocated... or you can just make a subharness from the passenger side to the driver side for those 2 plugs. That is, if you want the harness to all come from one spot on the firewall, so you can put in a quick disconnect later on.
Looking good so far! Keep scrubbing that bay!

I do plan on spinning that fitting on the IM. Did it on the Civic with the H22, and just haven't had time to mess with it since my son has been taking a lot of my time recently and I have been trying to save money. Cleaning the car a lot and adjusting the suspension just for fun.
Got the ride height set perfectly last weekend. Played with a the kill switch wiring to make it perfect, fixed the ashtray sag inside the car, fixed the sag on driver side rear bumper, and the cleaned it inside and out.
Next weekend I will do the passenger side rear bumper sag, clean it (of course), and switch the IM hose around to make you guys happy.

Ya... that brake booster line... And for those connectors: 50 Pin Military I really wanna do this one day, just need to touch up my soldering skills.
I have what you are saying for the kill switch, once that has a key and is (not easily though) accessed in the car and then an ignition kill switch reached in the driver seat. Take out the key when I park somewhere I wont be able to see the car, ect, and it makes me feel a lot safer (also took off my tow hooks -_-)

Yea, you guys are crazy with the mods....either that or I am getting old. I don't plan on touching P/S unless I delete it.
The way I am looking at this now is that anything else I do to the car, I will have to be ok with selling along with the car when the time comes. Meaning, I don't plan on spending a lot of time or money on one specific thing unless there is something legitimately wrong with the car. As long as the engine harness if not really seen from standing in front of the car, I will be happy. If I can find one for like $60 or so locally, I will pick it up.

Battling the idea of selling the car. I don't think I can justify spending another $2-3K more just for it to have something like 180whp (motor swap) when I can sell it, add about 2k on top and get something much newer, clean title, etc etc.
Anyways, this thread has been kind of quiet recently because of the above statement. The teg needed new tires on the front and those were installed yesterday.

Buddy of mine put it up on the lift, looked around but couldn't find what could be causing any issues in the front. We checked the ball joints and found out that the upper passenger side is bad. Figures, being a blox kit with who-knows how many miles. Ordering replacements tonight most likely. My buddy is going to try and schedule something soon where I can get the car on the alignment rack at his shop. We can then dial it all in 100% and I can be done with the suspension.
I plan on ordering upper ball joints, ES RTA bushings, rear sway bar endlinks, rear sway bar bushings, getting replacement AZ axles, installing everything over the course of a weekend, and then taking it in for alignment.
After that, it's done, unless I plan on keeping it. If keeping, I am swapping in at least a GSR motor next spring.
