Good news, I didn't leave the "Honda" family.

Picked up a 1998 4 door Integra GS sedan with a B20 swap and a JDM FRONT. Car is painted championship white and is almost flawless exterior-wise with exception to a few scuffs on the lip and a scratch here and there. No rust. No dents. Yes, actual paint! ITR front and rear seats, too. Beleive it or not, this is my first non-vtec Honda I have owned. lol

It needs a few things, but nothing I can handle. Rear motor mount, rear suspension, tires, exhaust has a hole somewhere, and a VSS sensor. So yea, it will not pass PA inspection yet (drove to MD to pick it up), so I am lucky to still have the Civic.

Post up some pictures man!

She needs cleaning and the lip needs some paint The rest of the car is all the same color!!! The picture might not show it the best since the camera sucks.

I am also being told that those wheels are the rare 96/97 JDM 4x114.3 typer R wheels (before the ITR was brought to the US and changed to 5 lug)

No interior pics yet, I will work on getting a new project thread started up soon. This thread will remain open until I sell the car.

I thought that year of Integra was 4x100? They look like hx or vx rims. Really nice either way. I'd love to get my hands on a pair. XD

Looks really nice!

The Integras should be 4x100, but this has been converted. With the ITR front and rear seats, and many of those faux CF parts that came in the ITR, sounds like someone was trying to build a replica or something.

is it a fiberglass front end conversion? looks like things aren't lining up all that well. Otherwise, looks great! what transmission is in it? factory LS tranny? What are your plans for it? Pretty pumped to see a db7 build on here, I've been wanting one lately...well, preferably a db8 but those are hard to come by and often expensive for what they are.

sounds like it needs a little work. I'd get a nice set of coilovers on there asap! Glad you didn't leave the honda crowd.

one last thing - whats the interior like, space-wise? I was wanting a db7/8 because my civic hatch is a little cramped, especially in the back seat area (I haul my kids around alot). Is a Teggy sedan going to fix my back-seat woes, or should I look into a newer generation civic instead?

The front end was hit in the past, so I am sure things won't be 100% and the lip is being held on by numerous zip ties. lol Good eye. It has a B20 motor and what I can assume to be a B20 transmission. I might be wrong though. Engine and trans are not my concern as long as it runs correctly. It has a huge vacuum leak somewhere and I am starting to assume brake booster. I will save that for another thread though..

Plans would be suspension re-done, clean up the trunk area (all rusty and gross on the inside where the spare should go), clean up the engine bay (wiring nonsense from the swap), and find the few little missing interior pieces. Headunit from the civic will be transferred into the Integra, along with the speakers, too. Nothing major at all. Been there done that. I wanted db8, too but like yourself, I didn't want to spend $6k on one that had like 190k on it and needed work. This one will do just fine.

Interior actually feels smaller than a Civic. Well at least compared to my coupe. Compared to my brother's 4 dr sedan Civic, I would assume it is about the same.

I am sure that a new project/fix up thread will be started by the end of the weekend!

Looks solid man! im pumped to see what this thing turns into. but if those are the real 15 inch 4x114 ITR wheels then yeah those are pretty legit, the conversion itself is a decent amount of money too.

2wd crv's are hard to come by though, it seems. My guess would be that it has the LS tranny that came in the integra to begin with, but eh, who knows? Just curious, but how does it drive? decent acceleration? Probably a bit of a slouch compared to that H22.

oh, I'm sure its bigger than your coupe's interior. Hell, I bet my hatch has more room in the back seat than your coupe does. I've read that the Teg sedans are a tiny bit more roomy than civic sedans (which seem to be better than hatches), but I just wanted to hear it from someone I trust. I suppose I really just need to test drive one...

edit- sorry for clogging up your thread with all these pointless questions and ramblings. I look forward to the Teg's build thread!
