So how do the Bisimoto cams differ from say Crower? Which I'm interested in. I'm looking for the lopey idle you have with the crower cam. Do the bisi ones do the same? Better quality?

Different sized lobes for different amount of duration, lift. Plus, it is made of billet instead of being a re-grind. The Bisi cam will give me the lope sound as well, just better quality IMO.

^^ Yea, it was $373 shipped. I'm hoping to get something like $120 shipped for the crower cam to help pay for the bisi.

I have seen brand new Blox cams for the D series for $230, and new Crower D series cams for $250, so the bisimoto one is a bit more expensive compared to the rest). I can imagine that there may be more expensive cams, but I think I'll be happy with this one. It is scheduled to be delivered on 3/2

I see. I was looking at the Bisi website and noticed they actually have cams for the JDM d15b. So i'm guessing that means I cant use a z6 cam and valve train components? I'm pretty sure Ti valve springs and retainers will be hard to find if thats the case for me.

Lucky! I have been looking at cams as of late too. Makes me hate having a DOHC. Very pricey. I'm sure you will be happy with that cam, Bisi doesn't make bad anything.

I'm not sure ot be honest. I thought it would all work together since it's all D series.

Yea, when I see new cam packages for B series, it's at least $450, unless you go with something like CTR, or ITR camshafts. But IMO, the CTR/ITR camshaft set-up isn't really worth it. I underdstand I have to "pay to play", but I wouldn't be able to "play" at all if I had a B series since most of the parts are about 50% more expensive that D series!

Edit: Gonna be installing the "Cold Gold" today. Pics later when I'm done. Maybe a DIY guide/review? lol, there isn't really much to it though.

I got a hold of my buddy who will be doing the body damage, and painting today. The price will be $1800-$2k if he does everything.

What will be done.... Fix dents all around the car; re-align front end 100%; sand entire car down (including truck/door jambs), and paint the entire car champ white/black roof.

Awesome-ness. I have been talking with someone at work who knows how to do body work, so if my buddy gives me a nice price for only sanding/painting, I'll be doing the body work myself to save some $$$. If the difference is less than $400, I wont bother and everything will be done my buddy.

Got the camshaft, taillights, and velocity stack in the mail today. The tails have been sealed already and the Crower cam is already out of the car. The Bisimoto camshaft is in the process of being installed now. Just taking a quick coffee break with some friends.

I'll post up some pics tomorrow since we won't get done with the install and some basic tuning until late. I gotta get some sleep tonight too... I have my 3 month review at Mishimoto tomorrow! woot!
