I just see it as why pay $1000+ to look like everyone else. You could get something clean and custom that most Civic owners won't have.

 

But that's the thing Plethoric, I am trying to be extremely cautious and not to get that much attention. I'm not sure if I want something that no one else has since other will want it and possibly take it from me.....and that would suck!

A person driving on the road, and I pass them in my gunmetal Civic, they'll most definitely know that it is not factory. I pass that same person in a white Civic, they'll think, just another white Civic. To the right person, they'll see Champ white with a black roof... sweet.

A person is walking to their car in a parking lot, and walks by my car. Gunmetal= Wow...never seen that color, must be modded etc etc. Same person walks by my white Civic, eh, keeps walking and doesn't pay it any mind.

In order to completely contradict what I just said above... thoughts on this?

Sent an E-mail to Bisimoto, as most of the billet cams are about $349. I emailed him with my current mods, and what I have planned, so hopefully he gets back to me soon about which cam he, or one of his workers suggests (I've heard that they only have something like 4 employees, and I would assume that they all know their ****)

 

Olive green is nice. I've seen it matte but havent seen a lot of paint that glossy. Nice.

Olive green is s3xy, but again too flashy. I say you just go with silver again. Its a DD so I wouldnt spend to much effort on the paint because its going to be abused just from daily life. There arent too many silver civics on here either.

 

I don't see how Olive could be referred to as "flashy". As long as its not a super bright attention getting color, it won't stand out that much. The Olive hatch looks sick, Ive seen it on H-T. Are you going to be doing the bay and all when you paint? If not I'd just stay silver. I hate seeing cars looking nice until they pop the hood and you see the old OEM color.

The bay wont be painted yet. I will be painting the bay semi-gloss black, or white, or bronze possibly...depending on what color I paint the exterior. That won't happen until the motor is pulled and replaced with the z6 high comp. block.
