You'll like the 22, the pull it has is pretty impressive for a na motor.

I replied about the hoses in my thread, but..
My car already had the different hoses when I got it, I'll see if I can find any numbers on them.

Found the hoses I need, so no worries.

Weekend findings:

Goods:
Motor is in.
....ummm thats it.

Bad:
It took 8 hours of working the mounts to get the motor in. I didn't go to sleep Saturday night. Innovative's mounts suck
Skunk2 IM does not fit... hits every damn thing on the firewall (prop valve fuel/brake/clutch lines). I will have to sell this
TB does not fit - Hits fuel filter. I will have to sell this.
Alternator does not fit - put tension on it (the belt), hits dr. head light. I will have to shave headlight
Half shaft wont work - need to find a prelude half shaft. Looking online currently.
BDL fuel rail does not fit - Spaced too far away, I current have it rigged in there to fit.
RC 440s will not fit - I will be selling them with the JRSC and using the OEMs.
Wiring is a complete mess - I ended up ripping all wiring out and started a mini tuck. Hopefully, I don't **** anything up.

I currently need:

-Finish wiring
-Buy new half shaft
-Mount shifter and cables
-Shave headlight to clear alt.
-I am sure there is more. Just haven't gotten to it yet.

EDIT - A buddy of mine dropped off rear trailing arms for a rear disc swap. I will just be swapping out the spindles since my T arm bushings are good. Just have to save up and buy pads/rotors/brake lines.

(P.S.) Plain and simple, if I get this swap completed and running 100%. I will be done with the project. I am sick of this ****. I think my adult side is starting to take over and I am realizing that I want to spend my money and time elsewhere, like on/with my family.

Must be the H2b conversion,
I have a mile between my alternator and headlight.

The one company that sells the H2b kit with innovative mounts sells 2 different mount sets for the alternator, one high one low.

Got my P28, chipped it but 1 problem....

I had it base mapped for 345cc injectors as thats what everything I could find said my year engine had.

Wrong!!!

The guy is sending me a new chip base mapped for the 290cc injectors, we'll see if that works better.

With the chip I currently have it runs REALLY REALLY rich.

I don't have an H2b conversion. do you?

Can you take a pic of your clearance for me? What mounts are you running?

No H2b here, I thought thats what you where doing, sorry.

I will get a pic of the clearance tomorrow.
Not sure on the mounts, I know they are listed in the paper work but I still haven't picked it up from my friend yet.

Your H22 an obd1 or obd2?

That one mount I was talking about moves the alternator down to the a/c pump location.
Are you keeping a/c?

I didn't think you could run A/C with an H22 swap. I ripped A/C out of my car a few weeks ago since it hasn't worked in about 2 years. I heard about a relocation bracket, but I thought that was if you wanted to run the D series alternator. Maybe there is more than one bracket. I'll have to see.

The motor I have is OBD1.

EDIT - I will be working on pictures in order to get the D series FS thread going. Engine mounts for $225!, Toga Oil pump for $125!, Swap for $350 picked up!, and of course, the supercharger and all that good stuff.

Hobo, you gonna pick up that Supercharger since Scott doesn't want it anymore? It'd be a nice addition to your sedan...

If I had money to spare, hell yes. But I think I might have to use all my savings to pay someone to swap my engine in... and I still have to buy exhaust and some parts. And eventually a computer.

Hobo needs a credit card. Anyone wanna cosign?
