I'm assuming it'll fit, I notice how the horizontal part of the bar looks to be a couple inches from the strut tower mounting points all the way across, instead of only in the center. Circuit Hero makes one that fits over K series valve covers and it's a similar design. I'll get one if I see that it fits your car well.

I personally love BYS bumpers on EK coupes and sedans. You get my vote.

I would pass on the bumper unless you plan on selling it for more. The stock bumper looks classier in my opinion.

hahaha, I was looking at that EXACT three point strut bar the other day after I read your post about buying one. I'm really looking forward to reading about the fitment and quality. But for $40, its certainly worth a try I'd say.

I like the BYS bumper! If I could find one for that cheap, I'd jump all over it. I think they look great. Besides, EVERYONE is doing lip kits these days...

As soon as I get the bar and my car back, I will make up some sort of review for sure. Not sure when I will get a chance to do it though. My list of things to do is getting out of hand. :/

I will probably have to just hope that the guy (about an 1 1/2 hour away) still has the bumper when I get my car back since I have no other means of transportation until then.

Decided against the BYS bumper for the main reason being it is fiberglass. I thought it was a plastic replica. One wrong bump and crack, there it goes.

Also, this is a DD car, and I don't raise it up during the winter. Since the BYS would hang lower than the OEM bumper+lip, I would become even more of a snow plow. And to mention the fiberglass part again, one nice clump of icy snow, and crack goes the bumper.

Changed up my To-Do list and my WTB list(s) on the OP since I was really bored earlier.

Also, I found someone willing to ship me a complete EK9 window visor set up (hardware/clips/visors/etc) for $85 shipped. Once I get a total for the shop bill, I will be sending that guy payment. I should be fine to buy it now, but I would rather be safe since getting the car back from the shop is priority. I bet I have said this before, but it should be done by the end of this week.

Read my project thread fool. Picking up a jrsc tomorrow.

Did you have a stock crank pulley or the Jackson racing one?

I had both in my possession, but I ran the stock pulley.

Should be ordering the EK9 window visors today.

oh, ew, I would have passed on the fiberglass bumper too. I only said that I would use it thinking that it was probably a plastic bumper. Eff fiberglass.

Totally jealous about those ek9 visors! I dont think I've ever seen a set cheaper than $100. I'm probably just gonna get a $40 set from autozone. They've done me fine in the past, dunno why my civic would be any different.

Same thought about the fiberglass, I would have bought it if they were plastic. I have just seen too many damaged body kits in my days. The area where I am in isn't too friendly with speed bumps/pot holes/plowing snow haha.

Well, this seller is in Malaysia, so he may have additional sets. Let me be the test dummy so see how this transaction works out. If it goes well, I'll see if he has more sets/parts. Hoping it works out, because he may have access to a CTR cluster and/or steering wheel at a decent price. I want that CTR steering wheel, but I refuse to pay like $400 for a good one, or like $300 for one that has seen better days. :/

Talked to the shop today. They ordered the last bolt they need (supposedly) today and it should be arriving in the next 24 hours. The shop will install the bolt needed (timing belt tensioner related), and button everything back up for the car to be done tomorrow.

Can someone say a few prayers for me?!?!? haha I might actually get it back this week/weekend.

Car is being buttoned up as we type/speak and being tossed onto the dyno for some tuning today.

*staring at my phone, hoping the shop calls.

EDIT - Car will not be ready unfortunately. sigh. Axles problems. The driver side axle is binding up. The shop is looking into what my options are at this time.

EDIT #2 - Axles are not the problems. The innovative mounts are the problem as they are not tilting the motor back far enough. I have the option of either getting a custom axle for $300, or Hasport mounts for $500. I went with mounts as getting a replacement axle (if ever needed) would be a total b!tch later down the road.

In closing, Innovative steel mounts do not work with Hasport axles. Anyone need a set of mounts for their H22 EK? These will work, but you just can't use Hasport axles. The standard set-up for axles (86-89 Integra Passenger side, Accord half shaft, and 90-93 Integra dr. side axle) should work with no problems. PM me for a deal.
