hey what bulb type did you order when you ordered the HIDs. I was looking at them this afternoon and I didn't see the ek bulb type (9003), and was wandering if one of the others worked as a good replacement.

I went with the slim H4 (9003) Hi/Lo in 5k 35w kit. Cost me $70 shipped. The kit should be shipping out within the next couple days! Still not sure where I will end up putting the ballasts.

^^ Sweet... still waiting on mine to come in. Hopefully, they will arrive by the end of next week!

Ditched the stupid ducting intake which kept getting holes in it every time I drove the car for 2.5" piping. A buddy of mine gave me this huge piece of piping with all kinds of bends in it. Cut it up (enter saw-zall [sp]), and tossed it on the car. All I need are two 2.5" couplers, and one 2.5"-3" 45 degree coupler to be finished with the intake set-up... finally.

Started to removed the fabric off the the spare headliner and sun roof cover that is sitting in my garage. I went ahead and bought 3 yards of the Thomas the Train print I linked in the other page. I am still trying to decide if the interior pieces being dark gray will clash with the royal blue of the headliner too much. If so, what should the pillars be colored? I am sure it will look fine and I am just over thinking it. I plan on having the headliner/sunroof cover wrapped by the end of next week.

oooo.... just ordered a set of fogs too. I started to cut holes in the bumper for the fogs, the holes are wayyy too small right now, but I figured I would just get them started. Better to not enough, rather than too much!

Other than that, I threw the car up on jack stands and did an oil change today. Probably going to be replacing the spark plugs/wires next. Again, general maintenance FTW! haha

Lastly, I am about 75% of the way there for paint. yay!

Question for you guys: I am in need of a new grill (the one I have is cracked). Which style grill would you prefer? (BTW, my current one is the same as the second link I posted)

"Honeycomb"/Wire mesh grill:

Plastic mesh grill:

I am leaning towards the second one.

I also prefer the second one. The plastic mesh looks much more like the oem grilles, which is the style that I like.

And my order number for the HIDs is packed according to DDM tuning's website, so mine should also be sent out pretty soon!

and where did you get the fogs from? clear or yellow?

I think they are within $2 of eachother, so I am not worried about the price.

DDM has a note on the site saying they have some back orders in which stock will arrive on 6/1. Maybe ours are on there? Hopefully. Going by the website, mine has been "packed" as of like 5/26.

Fogs are from ebay. I ordered clear. It really doesnt matter if they are clear or yellow, since I will only be using the fog bezels. I have no intention of putting the lights on. The fog light set up is $36, and there is only one person on ebay selling just the bezels, and he wants $35 shipped for them. I figured I would use the wiring at some point, as well as the brackets. Possibly sell the fog light button/switch and the fog light housings/bulbs. The fog bezel "hole" will be an air intake duct with a velocity stack sitting directly behind it.

Thanks guys for the input about the grill. I will most likely be going with the second link since they look more like an OEM grill as opposed to the other.
