Why would OEM silver be any cheaper than any other color? Jams and bay I suppose?

Pics of the new headlight color. However, it will be stripped and repainted a different color. LOL Found this extremely dark, metallic bronze-black color that caught my eye when I was in Wal-Mart yesterday.

Meth is partially tuned in, I am hoping to get some more time for tuning tonight. I ran out of meth halfway thru. Looks like I will be needing a bigger tank! The meth is set to begin sprayin around 5psi. Instead of 140-150 degree IATs under load, it is now around 85-90 degrees. Woot!

new color definetely looks better than the first, but I think I agree with you that it would look better darker.

and how often do you have to fill the meth tank? seems like it would be a pain to be constantly filling it, if you are already running out during tuning.

Well, it should last me like 2 weeks, but that means I can really get on the gas that much then Since we are tuning while the motor is being sprayed with meth, I knew we were going to be using a lot. It doesn't take much to get to 5 psi. Its basically as soon as I push down on the gas aggressively, and shoots to 7psi as soon as I get to WOT.

Meth tune is decent now, I have been playing with it for the past couple days

Other than that, I stripped the headlights of paint (again) and will be re-painting...hopefully soon. I am starting to get sick of doing it over and over again.

Hmmmm... what else? Bought this huge (actually it was the smallest package) roll of window screen in order to put behind the velocity stack since I am not running a filter at this time. LOL Now, if I could only get this aluminum ducting to stop breaking at the TB, I will be set.

Oh yeazz, I finally went ahead and bought me a 5 panel wink mirror. I was reading thru danomatic's project and it reminded me of how much I love that look and the fact that I would have a better view of what's behind me (yup... that's my justification for buying it but it was only $20 though). My current mirror rattles like crazy from the subwoofer, and the motor mounts (especially when starting off in 1st or reverse). Hopefully, this will not shake around as much! I plan on re-doing some of the interior again like the headliner with something different since there will be a couple little holes in the current fabric from where the OEM mirror and visors bolt to. I will keep this one a secret for now.

Speaking of the subwoofer, I think it is completely blown. I will be making a thread about it soon since I am a speaker/wiring noob for the most part.

Also, as stated in Hobo's project thread, my trans is starting to develop a nice grind when going into 3rd above 4.5k rpms. Looks like it will be time to start saving for a new trans. I would love to get one of those JDM D15 trans that comes stock with an LSD. Anybody have an idea where I can get one? I have searched around a little bit, but came up with nothing.

Installed the wink mirror today! Pics will be posted up tomorrow.

The holes in the head liner are more obvious than I thought, so I might bump that project up to the top of the list. Should only cost me like $30 total to re-wrap it. Any suggestions?

I was thinking of doing something that has to do with Thomas the Train since my son is in love with that stuff. The door panels wont be re-wrapped to match. At least until I see if I like it on the head liner.

Other than that, I finished sanding down the head light bezels and they are ready to be painted (again). Oh yea, the tires were rotated tonight...exciting.

^^ Yup... its a dark bronze-black metallic color. Only in the right light it has a dark bronze shade to it.

I am pushing for Thomas the Train stuff because its legit IMO. Who's gonna knock Thomas the Train? LOL Found a couple nice sets of bed sheets with a nice pattern on it for ~$20. I will be doing some more searching around before I make a decision. If anyone has any other suggestions for the head liner, post up!

Here is how it have it mounted right now. I will have the bracket and screw(s) under the new fabric when I re-wrap the head liner:
