Whoops. Should have posted that up with the pics. They are 75.5mm D16a1 (86-89 Integra) pistons with shotpeened D16 rods/ARP bolts.

The compression should be going from the stock 9.6:1 to about 11.5:1.

Thanks for the compliment EngelHonda!

what did you use to lube up the window tracks? I need to do that to mine

and it looks like you are making some good progress with this motor.

LOL, I believe it is something called Lubrisil. Don't quote me on that though. Honestly, the can looks to have come from the 1980's and is still about 75% full! haha I will try to get a pic or more info tonight.

I'm sure any spray-on silicone lubricant would be fine though. This is what was in the garage at the time when I did the windows the first time on this car last year. It worked well, so I didn;t bother going out and buying anything.

How many pounds of boost are you going up to? I've always read lower compression is better with boost, or maybe thats just high boost.

Right now, I am hitting 7.5 psi at WOT ~4500k up to whenever I shift. When cruising, I hit about 2-5 psi usually. I eventually want to upgrade to a 9 psi pulley though.

You are correct in saying lower compression is better for boost, especially when you are at higher amounts of boost. I should be fine though.

Sounds good man, how much of a boost in power you think you'll be getting by just swappin in those pistons and rods?

^^ Lets say that I will extremely upset if under 200 whp/185 wtq. However, I am guessing (probably wrong though) 225whp/200wtq once done with this stuff.

Anyways, yesterday I decided not to be lazy and wired in my new meth activation light. The old one blew out for some reason.

Also pulled out my front seats and floor mats and cleaned them up real good since I wasn't able to that last weekend due to time.

Lastly, I began the passenger side wire tuck. Worked from about 9pm-2am last night cleaning up the HID wires, and tucking some OEM wiring. Still have to loom the wire, get some of those zip ties with the holes at the end and some self tapping screws & shrink tubing, and spray down the metal under the fender with some of the rubberized spray coating. Pics will be posted once finished!

Well, I was scammed on the D16z6. Guy got me for $130. That's yet another set back on my road to higher compression.

Filed a dispute with paypal like I should, but I can almost guarantee 100% that I will not see the money again.

Other news, the oil pump was shipped out....woohoo However, I still need to find a z6 block...fast.
