We'll have to see what happens. I will be sure to let you guys know the outcome. Trying to keep my head up about this build, but I don't think I will be able to get it done before the end of this summer, so the project will wait a little bit.

Things are falling apart all at once and it sucks. My brothers sound system crapped out for some reason. I found out he pulled the subs forward, and yanked a few wires out. I put everything back in and the subs still do not work. I took the subs, hooked them up to my amp, and they worked. Oh well, more trouble shooting on his car later. The funny thing is when I hooked up my system again. For some reason, only the back passenger side speaker is working. yay.. more electrical BS.

This will take some time to sort out seeing as it is looking like I will have to yank out every wire on my bro's sound system to see what the problem is.

Anyways, here is my over-the-weekend update...

Installed a new Meth light since the previous one blew out on me a few weeks ago, finished cleaning the interior/seats since it was not all done last weekend, and basically completed the body harness wire tuck on the passenger side while cleaning up all of the HID wiring, too.

Here is a picture of where the wires are in the fender...

No current pics of the engine bay since only about 6 visible wires were moved. Also, I haven't finished 100%.

Over-the-next-week plans:

-Find a d@mn block
-Install Mishimoto couplers
-Finish wire tuck-age
-Hopefully figure out what is wrong with my system
-Hopefully figure out what is wrong with my bro's system

Dang. It sucks to have **** like this come up. Especially electrical work. That's always been the worst for me. Hopefully you can get your engine all finished up at least.

^Me, too.

Up until this non-sense happened with the block, I have been working on her every night. Since then, I have had no desire to do anything. The block will get done eventually. I am no longer in any rush to find something. If a z6 blocks pops up, the block build will be brought back to life. For the mean time, everything will just sit in my garage.

Oh BTW, the Z6 Toga Oil Pump came in today. Probably one of the fanciest packaging set-ups I have seen in awhile. Just no Toga stickers to rock out with

Zero speakers in the car work now. If anything, the one that did work now cuts in and out, while sounding extremely scratchy. My sidemarker on the pass. side isn't wired in, and I have a few parts I need to install just sitting on my garage table, and I couldn't care less, when stuff like that usually makes me want to stay up all night fixing it.

OK, got the amp working again. Cracked it open and and look around for anything loose/broken, and found a wire just laying there next to a little bit of solder. re-soldered the wire in and BAM, everything was working again.

Ended up re-doing the wires for my bro's sound system last night, too. Hooked up his subs to the 5 channel he has, they worked along with all of the speakers. Hooked the subs back up to the mono amp he has on the sub box, nothing (but the amp light was turning on). I assume the amp is dead, or something broke inside of it?

After fixing my brother's tail light issue a few nights ago (just had to replace a bulb and alter the stupid eBay tails he got ), I was looking for something to do with the car that wouldn't take much time or get me too involved since I needed to go to bed for work soon.

I walked up to my subwoofer/box that has been sitting for the past 2 months or so and starting playing with it. After taking it apart, I see that the black wire from the cone to the "terminal" came off! I reconnected it, and the sub starting working again. woot! All I need now is a set of front 6.5" speakers and I am back to having the full system working again!

Other than that, I:
lost the pass. sideskirt this past week somewhere, lol.
finished up the passenger side body harness tuck
ordered my replacement bisimoto camshaft
bought a whole bunch of windshield washer fluid

One clip on the bottom was holding it in. I think hit a nasty bump in the road and might have ripped that clip off, then allowing the sideskirt to pop off once it slides forward.

Oh well, fix one problem, another comes about.

You want to buy pictures of my tuck? lol j/k Nothing else to see except for what is pictured above. All that I did to "finish" the tuck was trimming some of the wires down, and re-installing the sidemarker wiring.
