Danomatic's Update Thread: Modifying the EJ1
hmm, interesting... ...What kind of FPR? and how much?
Actually, I have been on 'voluntary leave' since summer from the hardware store (Neu's Building Center, Inc.). But I've FINALLY been brought back to working at least Mondays now. Other than that I sell thread adapters on eGay, sell modified Integra clusters that are plug-n-play into EG's, and buy/sell civic parts. I'm in my last year studying Electrical Engineering and I too am very short on cash. I've been only buying parts for super awesome deals. So far I have only $400 into the build. I'm hoping to keep it under all $2500 after a really good tune.

No thank you. lol The only reason I'll even do the EG swap is because I did it for my car and know exactly how to do it. I thought that sol's had cool clusters!? They almost look like an Integra cluster.
That set me back $275 for them to chemically dip the wheels to ensure a clean surface and the powder coating itself.
Think of the cost of spray paint with similar quality. You'll need at least 1 can of primer for each wheel, at least 1 can of white for each wheel, and at least 2 cans of clear for each wheel... ...after all that see if the paint holds and does chip like hell.

lol, well I should have checked to see if you could read the words on the shots. I got 2 of each of the following: 48" length of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1". That's 40 freakin' feet of heat shrink tubing!
