Haven't really done much. But its getting warmer (hopefully) today it was almost 70*F lol

Im getting ready to make my catch can. I have a question...
So one of the lines going to the catch can goes to the "black box" behind the block underneath the intake manifold. Correct?
That black box currently only has 1 hose going to it (pcv valve), is that the same line that goes to the catch can?

Which means i would remove the PCV valve, and run a hose going from the black box to catch can, and a hose from valve cover to catch can. And then blocking off the nipple on the intake manifold where the pcv valve used to connect to.

AmIDoinItWrong?
This is the hole im talking about...(took it when we put a z6 mani on a friends civic)

I started working on the catchcan. I still need to go over to lowes and get some 1/2inch fittings and hose.

This can is a little beat up, but it was the only empty can i had lol. If it comes out good then i'll redo it with a better one lol.

BTW, vented or closed? I keep reading different oppinions on it. But it makes more sence to me to have it vented (with a small filter) since its going to be boosted, correct?

I figured out the catch can set up.
While removing my PCV i accidently pushed on the injector and gas sprayed out from the fuel rail side of the injector
Does that mean i might need some new injector seals?
Or is that normal when you push up on them?

If you weren't leaking fuel before I wouldn't worry about it... fuel system is about 40 psi and if it didn't force any out you should be fine.

Ran the car for about 15 seconds today for the first time in weeeeeeeeeks! LOL
Was just checking for big leaks and stuff. Nothing yet.

When i turned it on i did notice that the turbo was spinning (it was pretty ****ing sexy lol ), how would i keep it from over spining itself while driving it to get my exhaust done? As long as the internal wastegate is hooked up it should keep the turbo on check, RIGHT? lol

What i'll be doing is unhooking the piping from the throttle body and drive it like that.
That should be fine, right?

I thought i would post the answer i got at another forum:
Unhooking a pipe would cause the turbo to spin to death since there would be no pressure to open the wastegate.
So best thing to do is to unhook the wastegate actuator arm from the flapper.
