Yeah i just threw the bumper on and drove down the block to his house lol.
Lip and fenders will be on soon, but definitely not a priority right now lol.

Just drove in a friends srt4 putting down 415hp and 412 tq and DAM did it put you back in your seat. CRAZY ****.

 

GOOD! You did ARP head studs . Now you will be able to safetly boost without headgaskets going boom. Did you put a new headgasket on or just fed the studs through?

I have a new OEM head gasket which we didnt use because as soon as we pulled the valve cover i got a call to go in for a successful interview. gonna get another part time job at the "Chocolate Bar"! WOOOOOOT more money lol.

My dad's friend said we could just feed them in one at a time for now.
and so we did. torqued them down to 60ftlbs with the lube.

So im probably gonna be returning the headgasket we didnt use.

I'd put the new headgasket on. I wouldn't trust the old one sealing. When you pull the bolts you can hear the old headgasket pop and crackle from having the pressure released, aka the spot the headgasket was sealed in forever got moved. And doing it one bolt at a time worries me. You should technically pull all the bolts in order, then torque the studs down in order in stages. I did my studs to 65 ft lbs, 20 ft lbs first stage, 35 ft lbs second stage, and then jumped up to 65 ft lbs. You want to jump on the last one.

@Scott, really? hmmm i guess i'll throw the new gasket on this upcoming weekend then, might as well uh? I didn't hear the gasket pop or anything, but the sound of the old bolts coming out creeps me out haha, sounds like they could just snap with all the squeaking they do lol.

Nah i got a few more weeks of school left.
I only got school 3 days a week.
Im a tutor at a Boys & Girls club, i only work the days i dont have school. I'll be working at the B&G Club in the morning and once im off of there i'll be going to Chocolate Bar.
shouldnt be too bad.
