Are you gonna be rebuilding any parts of the motor itself before you slap that turbo on or what?

 

I plan on doing a vitara pistons, eagle rod set up once i get the turbo together.

 

What brand gages do you guys recommend?

Im looking for
Oil Pressure
Boost Gage
Wideband- Do you guys think its worth it? or just go with the A/F..

 

Autometer, AEM, Defi... anything that is proven to work and all that good stuff. I would shoot for electrical gauges, too. I have Autometer Lite (cheaper version) Oil PSI, Oil Temp, and EGT gauges as of now.

There is no point to have a A/f gauge if you don't have a wideband o2 sensor. I am running an AEM wideband and UEGO A/f gauge currently and plan on getting an AEM boost gauge to the match.

along with an hks flange.

 

Both look good to me. The is the same Wideband and gauge I have right now. Going on two years and zero problems.

Today i got a manual boost controler for 10 bucks.
He also gave me a hks knock off BOV. He said it works, that he just ordered a real Greddy type s so he didnt need it...So i took it. (who would refuse something for free lol)
Is there a way to tell if it works or not? before actually putting it on?



So far i have:
Turbo/manifold/downpipe/oil drain lines/intercooler
Intercooler piping (should be here wednesday)
Boost controller
Blow off valve


__I NEED__
Catch can
Injectors
Gages
Fuel Pump
Exhaust manifold gasket
Little pipes for wastegate/controller
And oil line for turbo/T for the oil (I can get that from like napa and stuff uh?)


Am i missing something? I would like to order everything this weekend...

 

- Not sure how to test without installing.

- Intercooler?

 

Oh that came with the manifold/turbo/downpipe. forgot to put that.

Trying to find out what the internal wastegate is set to.
forgot what the guy told me..lol
So i might be needing a air sensor with more bar's..


But the parts list look pretty complete, right? not missing anything important that i have overlooked, have I?
