Man i havent updated this think in a while... Not any real updates, that might be why haha

Pretty much just been beating on it.. waiting for it to blow so i can get motivated to build my vitara set up.

8psi is still pretty fun, Only thing sucking right now is my clutch, its getting sloppy lol
I wasnt expecting it to last me this long... i was hoping for maybe 3 months of boosting this old high milage block. But its still kicking lol.

Havent really done much... Just went out to do a photoshoot with a few friends the other day, i might post some pics later on tonight, but for now this one will do...

Car looks sick. Good work Daone.

Is the front bumper supposed to bow inwards as it wraps around the front going towards the tires, or is it just the angle of the pic?

I went with the Vitara piston & Custom D16 I-Beam Rods.

Thanks cvcr, I just now noticed this the other day as well, i think the lip might need some more stretching out.
Will check this out when i take the bumper off and start the build lol, since its supposed to snow this friday, this might all happen pretty soon.. ha :-/ gonna be garaged while there is snow and hopefully ill get some good wrenching time on it lol

Where'd you order the I beams from? I'm getting the I beams from RC, rated at 500 so they'll hold my power goals.

Yesterday a friend and I dropped our first engine, lol.
wasnt as hard as i expected it to be.. actually it was pretty simple.
Had to drop the engine since we had no cherry picker.

I will be building my bottom end in my engine repair class. Hoping to have it all done within a few weeks. Will be sending the block off to get cleaned and bored over this week.

Hey Scott, what clearances for bearings/rings etc are you going with, if you dont mind me asking?

Im trying to do something to the engine bay, just not sure what i wanna do yet, i dont think im ready for a engine tuck. lol
For now i'll just be cleaning it up untill i decide what to do.
Stickerbomb? paint a different color? try doing a mild tuck? eh idk

Glad you labeled the wiring. This is what happened to me when I didn't label during my swap.

That was after I was able to use the Haynes manual for like 3 hours to locate most of them. :/

I want to sticker bomb the entire bay and firewall. I think it would look nice, save me from welding and what not, and it would be easily replaceable if something was damaged. Just not 100% if I really want to go through with it or not.

Dang i wouldnt know where to start with all that!
thats why Im not sure if i would atempt a wire tuck lol.

Yeah i think sticker bombing the bay would look pretty sick, just not sure if it would look good with nothing shaved, u know what i mean? might look like just a fat *** mess.
I might try it out on the firewall or something and go from there.
