Hobo's 2000 LX daily driver
Jeez, polishing stuff is no joke. It's taking me a day a rim at this rate, since I have other stuff to do. It's basically 7 hours a day scrubbing down to bare metal and back to a shine. That's the most time consuming part. Once I get past 600 grit, it goes faster. I don't think I'll EVER do this myself again. Ever.
Anyways, got some paint done on the rims. I'm not sure if I should clear coat the whole thing or if that would force me to buff the clear to make it perfectly clear or whatever. Maybe I should just wax them. I dunno.
I didn't prep the lips of the rims at all. After all this polishing, I said screw it and just painted them. They look like crap but at this point, I don't care.

Getting there... 3 polished and painted, one left. I got the last one started today. All that's left is 600, 800, 1000, 1500, rubbing compound, polish, and paint.

I suppose I'll have to clear coat all 4 of them afterwards...
