Most everything with the project is on hold until I get moved. ***** expensive.

However, I do have some parts coming in soon and I did drop off my valve cover at the powdercoater about 20 minutes ago. $50 for a sandblast and coat in titanium gold.

I also just learned that my donor engine had just under 200K on it, not 140K like the cluster said. UGH.

I was admittedly worried when I saw this:

Both boxes were crushed and ripped and had large holes in them. One of them was wrapped in plastic to hold everything in.

As far as I can tell, everything made it here intact.
Got some oil lines and oil pressure sender:

Got some exhaust flanges for fabricating some exhaust:

Mocked the turbo up just for a picture. It's not together right and still needs a few parts:

Got 2 more things coming in then I'm done for awhile. Oil pan and valve cover, top and bottom. Dunno when they'll be in.

I guess I'm having that first major moment of doubt. I've got this huge collection of parts and am starting to doubt that I'll ever be able to complete this project. I need to double this stack of parts to finish this and I still need to spend around $1300 for the rest of this. Plus I need to pick up a beater car to drive while the Civic is down. I still have nowhere to do the real work on the car. I just hate that the turbo got damaged in the mail. Just means more money that I don't have.
