I was looking at stock size options at Majestic Honda, .25 and .50 oversized pistons. Seems I misunderstood sizes. .020 = 75.5mm. Who makes an aftermarket 0.10 piston? no one

I forgot to mention, I ordered some pistons. They'll be here Thursday-ish. They're NPR and .50 oversize. Once they're in, I'll be taking them to my engine builder with a check, and they'll go with the block to the shop for the major work. While it's at the shop, he'll order all the parts needed.

Getting there slowly, but surely.

The block is back from the shop. Block was vatted, bored, honed, deck skimmed. Crank was micro polished. All the rest of the bearings and gaskets and such are on order.

I will have a new engine next weekend.

Now if I can just find a damned y8 auto intake manifold. NO ONE HAS ONE. NO ONE CAN FIND ONE. It's pissing me off. If I'm gonna swap, there WILL be upgrades. I'm not gonna put that dinky y7 manifold back on.

Sigh, mine is an auto. But thanks for checking. A guy from the forum emailed me about one. If I can confirm that it's a 99-00 spec y8, I might be able to work with that one. Still looking though. And $100 seems sort of high.

Hope that helps!

The main problem is that every manifold I come across doesn't have the throttle cable bracket. Unfortunately, that won't work.

Is there a reason you don't want to order a new one from honda? the part # is 16411-P2J-000. Majestic has it for $6.02 + shipping.
