Edit: So i like the 04 Civic EX wheels, the Fit ones obviously, and the Si's...i like the hx's but mine are hella ugly and i dont feel like paying uber amounts of money to have them powdercoated which would be the better thing to do between that and repainting them. So im thinking if i could find somone whod wanna trade for my hx's...but you think the Si's would look good on my hatch? It wont be dropped for a long @$$ time so i guess it would look okay

Edit again: Maybe the Sol wheels but idk on an EK hatch lmao

 

i thought about fat fives from a del sol for a while, but im glad I didnt go with them, I think they would make your car look bogged down. If I were you, I would stick with the hx's and do one of 3 things:
1.) respray them black and do a polished lip
2.)spray them silver or gunmetal and leave them like that
3.) take all the paint off, and make them polished.

I would recommend the second option, because the subtlety of the plain wheels would divert some of the riceyness of the tails that you are stuck with. Those tails redeeming factor is the black housing, but i think black wheels make it look worse.

 

I kinda like that idea...would that be cheapest? Im trying to go for the cheapest way to either make my current wheels look good or just scrap em and find something better. I never see people with polished hx's tho so i think that would deff be a good option.

i would just refinish the wheels you got IMO. or maybe some SI oems. and dont trust those suposed SI wheels without the SI center caps, those are 99% of the time repops and they dont come with any markings on the center caps.

 

I def dont like the fit wheels on it. nice chop though, looks real.

Im thinking of either completely removing the paint on my hx's and having them polished or having them powdercoated. Powdercoated would deff be more expensive but worth it and the polished is relatively cheaper and something different. Dont see mnany polished hx's around.

 

Powdercoated gunmetal would be niiiiice.

 

Yah i was looking at some pics of the polished hx's on google and they dont look good (unless i just did a lip which i might do but id rather not). Id either get em powdercoated black or something gunmetal kinda. Maybe a bronze kinda. Anyway not gonna worry about it that wont be for a while. Im basically just gonna keep these unless i find a hell-of-a deal on cl or something.
