Some bad news guys. On thursday I unplugged the map sensor and started the car up. It was running good so I went to drive it around the block. After I took off and shifted to second something clicked in the engine/transmission and none of the gears were working. I could push the car as if it was in neutral in any gear. After determining it wasn't anything to do with the shifting parts I figured I'd have to pull the motor. So today, after I got back from my trip I pulled the motor.
I took the trans off and the only thing that wasn't normal was the fact that the tranny wasn't flush to the block on the intake side. Maybe a gap of 1/16th or 1/32 of an inch. I found out that it was because I accidentally left a dowel in the tranny that was already on the block, thus pushing them together and leaving a small gap. I'm trying to figure out if that's the possible reason or not... I looked at the tranny and everything checks out. All the gears turn with the input shaft like normal. The clutch hasn't been taken apart but it looks normal. Any ideas guys?

I'd like to see a parts list of all the stuff you've bought to make this swap happen, AND where you bought the parts from. GL with your current issues, I'm sure you'll get it figured out. It'll be worth it in the end man, don't you worry about that!
I found the problem and I just need to button the tranny back up and put everything back in. I tried once but the 1/2 shift fork decided it didn't want to stay in it's place so I gotta redo that. I have been working a ton so I haven't had much time. Should be done this week.

Alright so, long time no update. I spent some time investigating why the car wouldn't go into gear. The first thing I found was that the driverside axle splines got messed up a little when it broke. I took the tranny apart and everything looked good. As I was trying to put it back together I noticed that the shift forks all didn't want to go back into the outer case. I tried over and over and randomly I took a look at the input shaft and noticed a crack next to it. The crack was in a circle shape right underneath where the counter shaft sits. So, the gap I had caused stress on the mainshaft, which pushed on the counter shaft, which then caused a crack on the inner case. Lesson learned lol.
So, I sold the internals and plan on picking up an 06 6 speed tranny with only 15k and was inspected by Acura recently and has no problems. I should be getting it tomorrow after work I hope and have a running car by tomorrow night! Super excited to get this thing going again.

Haha yeah for sure! jk
She's alive!
Got everything in and good to go. Just waiting on a bracket from honda for the shift cables. This car kinda scares me. I don't know if its because something broke last time or just how loud it is and how much the inside of the car shakes from the mounts.

Why's it so loud? You got full exhaust on it yet? That K looks good in there
Makes me wanna get a Sol and...nevermind I'd never follow through with it HAHA! But I sure would love to drive that around *daydreaming (at 12:04 AM) lol*
