Motor looks good! I am interested to see how the paint holds up over time. I wanted to paint the H22 motor but a buddy said that the paint probably wouldn't hold up over time due to the salty roads etc. I ended up just wire brushing all the cr4p off of it and spraying a light coat of clear on it.

Thankz Cvcrcr99! Eh, I'm sure it will last long enough. I can't say it was the best prep work I've ever done and I could have taking my time more. But ya gotta think about it, domestic guys have been using simular paint on thier blocks way longer than honda's were around being built

The engine build is still on hold so now I'm getting the Sol ready for winter. Last week I got the front tires done (el'cheapo's), the back ones will get done soon.
So yesterday I decided to drop fluids and get that stuff taken care of. Changed engine oil, trans fluid, and coolant, and did a vlave lash adjustment. Kermit was already there getting ready to Do Work when I popped the hood....

Exclamation

Just to have closure to this thread....

Do to finances and other needs in life....

This engine build is dead and has been sold off piece by piece.

I still have the Del Sol but don't have any plans for it other than to drive and enjoy it right now.

Thankz for all the support, I've learned a lot

aw, thats sad. But I know how it goes. My build has come to a stop for the same reason, but I haven't given up on it yet... I'll get more done soon, I hope.

If things change, we want to be the first to know!
