donut gasket that came with header, dosint seem like it fits good with cat. thers a good size gap when cat is bolted, and the cat is a little slanted. do i need that gasket? what should i do?

so i made it so it dosint tilt down, i used a box to hold it up so it has an epual fit around the donut. but is this space normal?

how do i reset ECU?
In the pic the donut gasket is showing is that normal? the gap between the cat and header Thats what i mean space) i dont feel any air leaks around it.

Are you talking about the space between the two flanges? That's normal... the donut is sealing it fine.
remove the ECU fuse in the under hood fuse box for a few minutes, and then put it back in. start the engine and let it idle for like 5 minutes. then you're good to go.

Also, are you not using spring bolts for the header-to-cat. connection?
