Default RE: Bad gas mileage

I just did it a couple of days ago. I haven't driven it that much and my mileage is going to be inaccurate since my friend accidentally reset my trip odometer but just from driving it I can tell that it is much smoother and also seems to be sipping the gas at a slower rate. I think this is both from the Cold Air and the Seafoam. Doing both together seems to have helped the gas, but even more so, the drive. After this I am going to install my Hi Flow Cat, and when I can afford them, buy Konig Minuz wheels (take away almost 30 lbs) and then tune the car and that should get it the best. As of right now though, I have only seen improvement with every fill up. I'm just wondering where it will level off. I think that because the girl that owned it before just had it sitting most of the time, things got clogged and dirty, and they need to be cleaned out, which will only happen with time. We will see- I'll let you know as soon as I can get another accurate reading.

Glad you're doing well
Did your car smoked a lot when you used the Seafoam? haha

Where's the fuel filter located in a 94 ex?

hi all thats some results so far! just wondering does a high mileage honda civic cars oh lets say its done 130k on the clock effect gas mileage? and this sea foam, where is it available? i can't seem to find it anywhere in the UK, London! i can find fuel injector cleaners but not this seafoam! is it labeled as something else in the UK or is fuel injector cleaners enough to clean out your engine?

other than seafoam what else can i look for thats an alternative to seafoam in the UK? a car that hasn't been touched since the day it was made....other than the usual tune ups what other components shall one be looking for to improve gas mileage? e.g suspensions, drive belt, gearbox, etc....

i live in the UK and "a friend" who doesn't know anything about cars needs your opinion guys. was wondering if you can help this "friend" out [8D]

Thanks in advance!
