If it gets hot enough, you can cause detonation, and your rods will turn to spaghetti.

But, do what you want

By the way, it hasn't added more than 1 or 2 horsepower, it just seems like it cause of the "cool sound"

integra owners are constantly ghetto-fabbing cold air intakes to mimic the comptech icebox design.

some of them actually work, producing the best of both worlds: short ram throttle response with cold air top end power and no chance of hydrolockup.

the only downside is that their usually hideous. lol.

but hey, if it works, it works.

wow, didnt know a "hot" air intake could be that risky....

but i imagine the gains are in your head as well, i know when i put my fart can on i felt like i was flying haha
