Hi~ i have a question~
Is there any cold air or short ram intake for a civic 09 avaible nowadays? Cuz, for example Aem v2 i cant find any...
what brand do u recommend me? i dont mind the price.

 

they dont make and aem v2 for the 09's. There are plenty of intakes make for your civic. Check out the link below. O and btw what trim is your civic?

Trim would be the sub-model. For example, Si, EX, LX, DX, etc. Honestly, I don't even know what trims are available for 8th gens, I know there's the Si and EX, but I'm not sure what else.

 

Si, EX, EX-L, LX, DX, GX?, and LX-E or something like that.

 

its is LX, Ive put recently an intake and suddenly in the display of my car the engine Icon Came out~! wuts happening? my car is not accepting the intake that i put? ( the cold air intake has no brand) and then 1 day after in the middle of the street my engines turn off, is my engine damaged since i installed the intake wrongly?

installing the intake must have caused a vital sensor on the intake to not be utilized, which would cause the CEL (check engine light). If your intake let you continue to use all the sensors, perhaps you damaged one of the sensors.

 

you mean i didnt damage the engine,maybe just the intake sensor, so it would be rare to damage the engine with an intake right? :S Im so sorry that i dont understand anything ^^

did the intake you installed make it so you couldn't use a sensor or something that was installed onto the stock intake?
