Installed my 4-2-1 headers....
Ok first off I would like to say yes I am new at this whole civic(even car for that matter) performance enthusiast thing so it took me about 8 hours and I only had to buy 1 replacement O2 sensor. So I'm pretty happy, I basically just finished about 20 mins ago(started at around 1pm). Most of the bolts were rusted as hell so it took a while and a lot of "Liquid Wrench", which worked better than WD-40 IMO. I don't recommend doing thing by yourself but no shop in my area would install it since I didn't buy it from them(thanks a lot!) Gonna have it looked at tomorrow morning for leaks, etc. but I took it out for a quick test spin and its much quicker. When I first started the engine up it made a whine that I hadn't heard before, shut her down checked the bolts one last time, made sure the O2 sensors were tight and started her back up... sounded great, still worried that since I did it myself there might be a leak. All in all it ran well for the minute I had it out and the motor doesnt sound funny so I'm thrilled. Let you guys know how I REALLY did tomorrow after my mechanic takes a peak at it. Oh and for emphasis I DONT RECOMMEND DOING THIS BY YOURSELF.
Oh btw the headers should change the tone of my exhaust yes??

Yeah, its almost always best to at least have one buddy with you when working on stuff like this. Not only to hold things in place while you tighten bolts and things like that, but as a second mind to double check everyhting you think/do.
And yes, it should change your exhaust tone a little.
