I've got an ebay strut bar and its worked really well, i think even one of the Admin did a review of an ebay strut bar and said that it was really good. Just a suggestion if you wanna save some money, but i feel ya, havin name brand stuff just feels good 
And es2001civic, hopefully your strut bar fits over your intake, alot of Top Mount Throttle Bodys (such as your, and the d16y7) dont allow you to have a strut bar and an aftermarket intake in there at teh same time becasue of how the intake pipe is. Good luck though
