Default My new intake for 96 Civic

Hi guys,

My friend just installed intake for 96 Civic intake.

Brand: Maxspeed 3" intake pipe + filter
Cost : $ 27 (Buy from local shop)
Labor: 30 mins
Hp+ : Testing
Gas mileage+ :+5 miles
Value: A+++++

Before this, I have tried AEM and K&N which cost me $90+.

Actually, I will suggest Maxspeed intake system again (higher C/P value)

Just my opinion.

Thanks

I may be wrong, but isn't that intake show to be installed on a 92-95 EG, and not a 96?

that is really odd.

My DMV title shows 96 Honda Civic but many people said mine should be 95.

Any idea?

thanks

Your car is indeed a EG, 92-95.

(LOL thats what mine is..)Mine looks the same as yours as far as i can tell.. except i see you have no ac..

It is definitely a 92-95.

If it is a coupe, it is 93-95. I believe 94 and 95 only had the tweeters in the doors as well as a passenger side air bag, too. It's been a little while since I have messed with EG's all like that, so I'm a little blurry on all of the exact details.

check to see if your title vin matches you car vin. sounds like you have a stolen car. it's happened to me before so now i check vins every time i trade or buy a used car from an owner.

I would say try running the intake to the bottom of the car to get cold air.. bec the way it looks to me its sucking hot air..
