So im going to go with a custom exhaust and a muffler from somewhere for my 95dx. What exactly do i tell the people at the exhaust shop that i want? Also are there any reccomended mufflers anyone knows of? Thanks

 

you want mandrel bends, not crush bends. make sure they have a mandrel bender. do you plan on going turbo in the future? if so, you want 2.5" piping. if not, you want 2.25" piping.

just tell them were you want it to start and how you want it to exit the car in the back....

also if they dont have a mandral bender its gonna be pretty exspensive ordering the pieces to put together, about double.

 

sorry but question here, if you plan on going turbo eventually and getting the 2.5...would that hurt your power now without the turbo?

 

Probably not even anything you'd notice.

 

i would just go before the day you get it done and ask what ideas they have and different suggestions and what they have done before..then you have a couple of ideas to sit on and think about what they can do and what you want
