2000 hood on 1998

Default 2000 hood on 1998

i need a new hood for my 1998 ex and i was wondering if a 2000 hood will fir or is there a difference?

There's a difference. If you want to use a 99-00 Hood on your 96-98, you need the fenders, headlights, and front from a 99-00 as well. Basically do a 99-00 front end conversion.

You also need the radiator core support. That's different too.

Is it? Damn... never knew that. Thought it was only the outside pieces in which you can see.

I thought the same thing until I just read this... hmmm now me thinks if its worth it or not...

I have personally put a 2000 front end on a 96 and didnt change the rad support. It didnt take much to do so either.
