Cold Cathodes are the brightest things i've ever seen, and they're small, which is good. Easy to wire up (into a 12V), and yeah www.oznium.com is where i got mine. Those guys are as good as they get; you can even talk to them on AIM like addiction said.

As for taillgihts, use the film. I think it looks good, but i think covering up the red is illegal, so watcha yourself. If you're lookin for other stuff to do, i suggest Xenon Bulbs or HIDs, window tint, a slight drop (Tien S-Techs, just google them), new gauges, body/lip kit, and maybe a custom grill. Thatd be gooood

 

the flex strips are your best bet!


cold cathodes are good BUT they dont bend around and the transformers are about half the size of sa smoke pack.... which can be hard to hide!
BUT the led flex strips are the newest coolest sh**!
alls it is is two wires... power and ground wire...

to wire them up simply check out your fuse box for a open male spade terminal and use a light tester to see when or IF it has power.... i always sugest hooking it into the one thats only on with the ignition... that way they turn off with your ignition!
and then the ground to any metal part under the dash... typicaly i look for a existing bolt or nut under the dash and simply loosen the bolt or nut and wrap the ground wire around the bolt and screw them back on... then just connect the power wire from the fuse box to a switch and run the other wire from the switch to the lights... preaty easy realy....


either use some simple velcro or for a little beter grip use some HOT GLUE GUN and glue the strip to what ever ya want that should hold it up nicely and also be removable.... just be sure to clean the spot where ya glue it to....

 

thanks for all the help guys, i jus got back from germany today and seriously thinking of ordering some of these. Basically all i am going to do is a green strip under each side of the dash (would a 4.7" flex-strip be much light, or would the 9.5" look much better) and would like to put a switch by the steering wheel to turn them on/off, besides the actual LED strips, what else would i need in the line of switches or other electrical equipment (im new

with the switch juse use what you like the style of and then make it fit where you want it

and if ya use a realy small switch you can just use a relay and use the switch so its ground activated...

ya might need alittle wiring... but nothing that costs to much...... those flex strips dont use much power at all so the wires can be preaty small!
just wait till you get the led strips and cut off alittle piece of the wire and go to radio shack and buy some wire that size....

but with extending the wires you only need to extend the power wire... the ground you can put anywhere thier metal all over your car you can ground them to


almost forgot YOU ALSO NEED TO ADD A FUSE TO THEM! where ever you get power from you need to put a fuse as close to that power source as you can!!!!!!

 

so i run the power to the fuse box (under steering wheel)? or would i run both power from the LED to the switch, then the switch to power? && the end of the wires can be put directly on the switch (it looked a little different in the DIY thread)

 

ya tap into a empty fuse box spade using a female spade conection... run awire to the fuse box into a fuse and then from that fuse to the switch..... then from the switch to your lights... preaty easy.....

 

get tint put on, if you dont already have it...tint alone makes the car look soo much better
