color for ground wires?

RE: color for ground wires?
The lights on my cluster gauge where usually what dimmer and looked like I had a weak battery, but I changed the ground wire with a thicker wire and I have much brighter light. I don't see the lights dimming as much anymore when I turn up the stereo.

Ground wires should be black with wire loom around them and tucked away(like other wires) I dont know who got the idea that bright wires/wire loom looks good, cool, or performance oriented at all. I think it looks ricey as hell and it is pointless to do period. BTW -40- it dont take long to do a wire tuck, after your intake manifold is off maybe a solid 4/5 hours of work for a really good thurough job.

RE: color for ground wires?
Thx for the great fed back guys. Im gonna go with black for the wires and try to tuck em away as much as posible. hopefully this will make the engine bay look alot cleaner specialy once I drop some headers in there.
