Depending on WHICH model changes the issue if the oe deck is tied in with the dome light. My DX has no extra wiring in the harness that would account for the dome light fix but it also never had an OE alarm which I have a feeling is the real issue.


I'd pull of the inner pannel that sits over the door switch and un plug the sitch and ground it and see if it works. If it does than you have a bad switch, if it doesn't than you have the oe deck wiring issue.
