I guess they might be a bit different depending on which set of these you guy, but they were on my car when I bought it, and I had to physically cut them off to get them off my gauges. Not any big loss since they stopped working about 1 month after I bought the car, but I would like to point out that not all of them slip right over the needles, and mine looked just like the ones he listed. I'm not saying all of them were like that, but I'm positive mine were. The whole cluster was just one big floppy plastic piece, so there was no way I could get them all at once, and the holes were too small (what she said...ahem). Also, there were holes in them where you were supposed to put those little screws in. However, even with cutting them off, I bumped my speedometer needle a few times and now it jitters just the slightest bit when I'm accelerating or braking fast, so be careful.
