Just debadged the Civic...
lol, come on guys. I didn't do any of the damage. If I had, I would have asked how I could cheaply fix a screwup.
I highly doubt that free dental floss has the power to gouge chunks out of paint. I didn't pry the emblems off either. I didn't even use a knife or razor, just dental floss. The pictures show that the paint damage was hidden under the bigger emblems and was from having a different set of emblems previously. The "LX" damage is where the paint is gouged out, but the "Civic" damage is raised above the rest of the paint.
I didn't know touch up paint came in cans. I thought it just came in little glassbottles with a brush under the cap. I don't thinkI have the skills to do that kind of work, though. I wish I had something to practice on, because I would love to repair the clear coat damage to my hood as well.
As for the interior LX emblem, I think you're right. It's pointless. Even the H emblem is a bit too much. I think I could mount the Civic emblem right in the middle of the passenger side of the dash and it would look fine, but again, I was just messing around. The inside emblems are NOT permanent by any stretch.
