I just left it over night and it was fine. BE VERY CAREFUL when putting the valve cover back on not to overtighten the nuts! I snapped one off and many others have done the same.
torque wrench FTW and its in/lbs not ft/lbs

If it broke deep enough down you can't really do anything about it... what you can do is use liquid gasket.

It seals the valve cover to the head so no oil doesn't leak or anything can get in. If down the road you want to take the cover off again you can pry it off with a flathead or whatever. then just reaply it. You can get it done at a honda garage for not very much.

If you complain enough they might not even charge you like what happened to me

just a question, I read somewhere that painting the valve cover increases horsepower, didn't read it until after I painted it. Doesnt make sense to me how it would but I was wondering if it actually does make more power, If so thats definetely a plus lol

when you people paint the valve covers you might want to think about painting the blot heads and the bracket the holds the spark plug wires but not the plastic piece. it just makes it look that muck better, almost like new. And i would sand the letters down to aluminum and clear them again or do them in black, that looks good too, but nice job.
