I happen to think so, we actually talk and the relationship between us is very peacefull and rewarding as far as freindship wise. We have known eachother for a little while and have been freinds the whole time. Kinda feels like it fits like a glove if that makes sense? In otherwords it is a very natural feeling relationship, neither of us put up any fronts and being that we have known eachother for a while now we both know eachothers backgrounds and reactions to most any situation. She is on the verge of calling the cops on him to get a order of protection put out against him for her.

Marty didn't do anything wrong. Even though marty walked towards him he made no agressive moves. He did not run towards him or swing at him. By the other guy jumping out and grabbing a tire iron. He is showing an act of aggression. Marty is smaller than he is and showed no act of aggression. The other guy is alot bigger than him. He has no excuse to grab a tire iron. The other guy is the aggresser. I wouldn't worry to much if i was you Marty. What you did seems reasonable. He is bigger than you. Started with verbal attack. Then the bigger guy grabbed a weapon. Now he is armed and can be considered a hostile.
P.S. Nerosync. I know you don't mean it but everything you have said if you are reading it. It seems you are calling him stupid and telling him he has no brains. Dont worry about it man, no matter what he means I know my limits and know when to stop and pull back. Plus I know what kind of person i am in and it should speak for me a little being I am willing to go through this for somebody else. Just wanted to air it out a little to a group that I have talked to, helped, and got help from for nearly 3 years now.

I think you did the right thing. And yes, I would be watching my back. Guys like that will always try to take the cheap shot. Just watch your back and be ready for anything. It won't do any good to get the cops involved, as they do nothing in situations like this. Just wait and let him throw first. Then you are justified in making his stay in the hospital a long one.

all i can say is the guy had a tire iron marty wasn't being agressive so he got his gun to defend his self i see no wrong in that. i have a 380 and a ccw if i have to defend myself i will

^^^Yeah, down here as long as you have a CCW permit you can carry a handgun. I love it. I have had mine for 6 years. In fact I need to go get it re-upped. LOL But yeah, down here in the south, we all have guns. No ****, I have seen old ladies with big *** guns down here. Opened her purse at the grocery store, and there was a ((I am guessing)) a .45 snub nose in there. Just right next to the lipstick, and the peppermints. LOL I love it!
